Privacy Policy

We wish to ensure that the collective votes not unfairly influenced by those who might attempt to skew the results by voting multiple times. The challenge was to do this in a way that keeps everyone's votes private and anonymous. Our solution to to use only the most recent votes from each computer in the final results, and to we encrypt each computer's unique IP address before saving it using a one-way "md5 digest" algorithm, so no private information is retained or can be derived from any of the information we save.
